-Abstract-
Strategies for primary anti-dementia therapy include palliation of existing cognitive
symptoms retardation or arrest of disease course. and cure or preventive of AD.
The development and assessment of drugs for improving or mataining cognition in
Alzheimer's disease(AD) requires knowledge of pathophysiological changes occurring in
the brain, and the limitation of peripherally administered medications in affecting brain
function.
